The Go Off the Boards Drill is a primary passing and puckhandling drill you should use at school or with younger gamers.

It teaches college students methods to use the boards to move to different gamers. It additionally teaches them methods to make a transfer round a defender by passing the puck off the boards and again to themselves as they skate across the opponent.

Setup
Line your gamers up in a single nook of the rink. Place pylons about three toes from the boards, 10 or 15 toes aside, down the size and on either side of the rink.

Execution
Your gamers should skate the size of the ice. As they strategy every cone, they move the puck off the boards and again to themselves so it reaches them ready that’s previous the cone.

They proceed down the ice, across the end-boards and proceed again down the alternative facet of the rink. As soon as everybody has completed, repeat, skating in the wrong way.
